How does I use only image processing from tesseract api in python?

Hi,

I want only use the tesseract api  for image processing like border removing, segmentation and other image processing operations using python. Is there is any method to do this or wrapper in python. While I am using pytesseract it doesn't give enough result to be used in my application. Any help is highly appreciable.

Maybe you should try to user some leptonica python wrapper (or directly via ctype) or use other dedicated tools like opencv for image processing,,,,
