When i execute the command "java -jar jtOCR.jar" in ubuntu-8.04
i got the following exception

and also in jtOCR applet i got the dialog box as

"cannot find tesseract. please set its path".

That program is obsolete and no longer supported. Try VietOCR. And be
sure to install tesseract-ocr first.

        Just to confirm is your app only for Vietnamese language or can it support other languages too?

It supports the same set of languages that Tesseract supports.

Those notices are horrible; you should really consider either removing
them, or sending public mail from a separate account if you can't --
sooner or later, you'll encounter people who will simply refuse to
answer you because of them. You might also want to check with your
employer to ensure that you are even permitted to send email publicly
from your work account.

Okie thanks for the heads up - I agree they are horrible but I need them for work stuff.  I'll move everything to my personal account; I can send the emails from this email though - it is my firm but I need to do it as audits on my firm force me to do it.  Someone, some where at some time wrote a regulation that it is needed and I'm bound by those rules!  I wish it were not so :)

No problem. From time to time, I exchange email with someone whose
company insists on appending a much longer notice in *3* languages, so
yours is far from the worst I've seen :D
