google drive / GAFE and windows RT

has anyone come across windows RT tablets having difficulties with GAFE?
i've got two students who cannot click on the "add to drive" or "open in drive" buttons on a shared google drive folder using their windows RT tablets.

Is that because RT will only run IE, sooner or later you will end up with some compatibility issue?

WIndows RT tablets, I think I have given up on using the one I have, Just so limiting in what they can do. Great if you are on a microsoft platform, but with the GAFE using it within Internet Explorer was just the pits. If Microsoft allowed Google chrome to be installed or at least another alternative browsers it may work. 

Basically its a fail on anything other than office365/ondrive.

i got it to work through navigating to the folders via drive, rather than following the link in the sharing email.

About as much chance of that as being able to put Chrome on an Ipad or some other browser on a Chromebook

Check the date/time on the tablet. Had the same thing on an iPad and correcting it fixed the GApps problem.
