We are trying to set up an email alias - unsuccessfully

We want an email address e.g. teachers@ed.... and it is then distributed to a number of addresses e.g. hal@ed... smi@ed... etc.

As a distribution group e.g. _teachers@ed... it distributes successfully inside the school but an external person (e.g. parent) sends an email to teachers@ed...it fails

Is this possible and if so how

Hi Barry,

You need to set the posting permission to public on the group to receive email outside your school domain.

Permissions -> Posting permissions

Change Post to Public
