Just had a student unable to print from an IOS9 device to an Airprint queue on Papercut.

You need to turn off IPv6 on the network interface on the Papercut Mac server.

Just a weird one to watch out for..

Thanks,
Craig

Heya Craig

Interesting solution! Thanks for posting that info onto the list.

Not sure if others have noticed, but the latest versions of Mac OS X don't have an 'off' option for IPv6 support on an interface. One can at best set it to 'link local'. I wonder if this bug would still be apparent if one still had a link-local v6 interface active?!

Time will tell... :)

Pete

mac OSX's IPv6 is nothing but trouble.

in a terminal, type

sudo networksetup -setv6off Wi-Fi
or
sudo networksetup -setv6off Ethernet
or whatever the name of the connection is to turn IPv6 off.

Fixes a while heap of troubles...
