Graphite widget rendering flicker / artifacts

We recently moved our graphite server to a new host along with team dashboard. Since the move we have been experiencing strange rendering issues

Has anyone experienced this before?

Some notes:

- Graphite changed to 0.9.X branch for cairocffi support (for installing via pip)

- Storage retention was changed to store recent data for longer

- Using the Graphite widget.
