I have sensu-admin running in my network, and when I set the SENSUS_EVENTS_URL to

    config.sensu_events     = "https://sensu.int.xxxxx.com"

 I am getting the following when adding a check to a dashboard

{"message":"Internal server error: the server responded with status 404","response":{"url":"https://sensu.int.xxxxxx.com/events/events","status":404,"headers":{"server":"nginx/1.0.15","date":"Tue, 29 Oct 2013 19:42:47 GMT","content-type":"text/html; charset=utf-8","connection":"close","status":"404 Not Found","content-length":"728","x-request-id":"37e9c082b4ebf9df335fea49c4348a58","x-runtime":"0.004434","x-rack-cache":"miss"},"body":"<!DOCTYPE html>\n<html>\n<head>\n  <title>The page you were looking for doesn't exist (404)</title>\n  <style type=\"text/css\">\n    body { background-color: #fff; color: #666; text-align: center; font-family: arial, sans-serif; }\n    div.dialog {\n      width: 25em;\n      padding: 0 4em;\n      margin: 4em auto 0 auto;\n      border: 1px solid #ccc;\n      border-right-color: #999;\n      border-bottom-color: #999;\n    }\n    h1 { font-size: 100%; color: #f00; line-height: 1.5em; }\n  </style>\n</head>\n\n<body>\n  <!-- This file lives in public/404.html -->\n  <div class=\"dialog\">\n    <h1>The page you were looking for doesn't exist.</h1>\n    <p>You may have mistyped the address or the page may have moved.</p>\n  </div>\n</body>\n</html>\n"}}

Please notice how there is two /events appended to the url.  Am I doing something wrong here ?

Thanks

-John

Hi John,

haven't heard much from the maintainer of the sensu plugin lately, so I'm sure if he's reading your email to assist you.

I don't use the sensu service for myself, so can't easily reproduce.

But, here's the source code:

I further suggest to set the Rails log level to debug and look in log/production.log. The sensu plugin creates lots of output which should help diagnose your problem.

Cheers,
Frederik

PS: I'm offline for a few days but should be back at Thuesday to look into this with you more closely.
