Need help to get started with sample plugin and AS 1.5.1

It's my first time with Android studio, I have use the online templates with diffrent samples and successfully run it on my android through USB debugging.
But when extracted the zip with the tasker plugin sample https://github.com/twofortyfouram/android-display-condition-plugin-for-locale and open it, the play button is not green and enabled.
What have I missed?

Based on what I remember the code originally belongs to an app called locale and it needs to be imported. other than that you can always use the specs to implement your own protocol.
