For years I've had a "Priority Caller" profile that turns off silent mode, turns on Vibrate on Ringer, and gradually increases the ringer volume from it's previous value when certain contacts call. It's been working fine until my phone updated to Marshmallow. The phone is a 2014 Moto X. After the update, when one of these callers call while Do Not Disturb is enabled, the settings are all changed (Do Not Disturb icon disappears), but the behavior of the phone doesn't change - it remains silent. I know from helping others with similar issues, that some phones (it seemed to be manufacturer specific) don't actually change their behavior with regard to these settings until after the phone stops ringing. Now I'm apparently in the same boat.

I'm sure I can work around this using one of the methods from years past (I'll have to look at what those were), or even resorting to the less appealing built-in Priority mode. But I'm wondering... can anything be done in Tasker (i.e. by Pent) to "fix" this, or is it yet another Android restriction we have to live with?
Also, workaround suggestions are also welcome.
Happy New Year everyone!
