I've been using Autoinput for turning on my Hotspot when I'm in my car connected to the headset BT. It worked perfect for the last 8 month (Pixel XL). Two days ago it stopped. It pulls down the menu but will not perform the click action. I've tried changing the target to Flashlight instead (to make sure it's something to do with Autoinput and not the Hotspot itself) and that didn't work either. Anyone else facing the same issue?
Needless to say I've changed nothing during the last few months. There was no system update in the last 2 weeks either. Maybe there was an Autoinput autoupdate (pun...) that got installed?
Thx,
Nir

Hi there. Did you maybe not unlock the app and blocked notifications for it?
I recently realized that the app was not correctly checking if it was unlocked or not and let everyone use it regardless. I've fixed that bug in the latest release, so this is maybe what your issue is? Hope this helps.

Hi,
You might have fixed something on your end but killed it for me... Autoinput is enabled (shows colorful on Autoapps. Plus it is enabled since if pulls down the quick settings panel just as it always did. It just won't "click" any item on the quick settings panel. It's a real bummer to have something work so smoothly and then loose it completely.

Sorry about that. I'm sure we can get it to work again

But have you started the trial or unlocked the full version of the app yet?

Maybe the accessibility service go turned off? That's what happened to me the last time AutoInput updated.

Not sure if you got this resolved, but what I've noticed is that occasionally AutoInput stops working and disabling/enabling the accessibility service fixes things.

I don't know if it's related or not, but all of my plugins stopped working about two days ago, and I have no idea why - I don't think anything updated in that time.
Do other plugins still work reliably for you?

Hi,

I experience the exact same issue. But I couldn't install the downgrade version of Google app. I was wondering if this is because my device is a Nexus (6p). Is there a way to solve the issue on my device?
Thanks
