Need Help Please! Need New Tasker 101 Tutorials Please.

Hi.
I would love to use this app. But all video's on how to use Tasker are totally different to what the app is as of now.
All the Tutorials links @ tasker.dinglisch.net/guides.html are 2 to 4 years old!
I can not follow the instructions as the display and the buttons that they are using to demonstrate how to use, are not available in the new set up.
So I can not follow the basic stuff to learn how to use this amazing app. And Yes I'm Old.
I was wondering if anyone here, new someone at Tasker, to redo the Tutorial with the currant lay out so old farts like myself can learn how to use the Tasker app.
Or at least if anyone here may know's of a link to a video of this already been done.
Any help would be much appreciated.

P.S I have a Galaxy S5 with lollipop does that change the the look of Tasker?

There's loads of tutorials with the new UI on YouTube.

Search Hollywoodfrodo Tasker 101

I recommend not just watching them but following them you will learn your way around Tasker better and it will help you understand how things work.

Missed that last bit, on newer Android version like Lollipop Tasker uses what's called a Holo UI the Hollywoodfrodo vids use the sane UI so should be easy to follow.

I re watched his video and I get it now. I had to turn off beginner mode to get my phone to look like his. Also his screen is black and that was throwing me as well. It just looked totally different.   ( I missed the turn off biginner part even thought it had tags across the video to say to do that!)
So now I have lots of vid's to watch and learn
