1) So what ever APK I make, app is never listed under recent apps. APK consist of multiple scenes. Google showed some results that people want to hide the app from recent view so I must be missing something.

2)nd problem,
I have a main scene, let's call it scene A. Then I open scene B from A, a Activity, Full Screen, No Bar (I need it to be full screen no bar), scene B has property of "Dialog" with Key "back" set to do: Destroy Scene B, Show Scene A.

It works in Tasker, while developing. When I export to APK, it also works the first time. However, if I minimize the app (e.g. go to home screen) it returns back to Scene B, but pressing back button shows never shows Scene A. It goes back to previous Android screen (home, app drawer, previous app and so on) instead. I also tried ticking "Stop Event" in the scene properties/key - no help.

Only part of an answer, but I seem to recall Pent telling me you cannot 'stop event' the 'back' key, so you are very much at the mercy of Android using it...

No, it's Home you can't stop.

Unfortunately no, I was really hoping the developer could tell us what is deal with that. I found evidence of those issues as old as 2012 and no firm answers.
I want to make a video of the issues, so Developer can easily see the problem - ‎kind of over loaded with work right now, hopefully this weekend.

Regarding the recents list, app factory apps are explicity excluded from it due to
difficulty in handling it issues that crop up from that.

Pent, I don't suppose that you've found a resolution to this problem, have you?

When I was looking for a solution, I didn't find this thread, so I started a new one. I have found a messy workaround. It is hardly ideal (and leaves a horribly unprofessional finish if you want to provide the app to other people), but at least you can get back to your app after you've gone to the home screen or another app. See post #5 in my thread.

I spoke too soon. I have found that the workaround works only in some cases. Sorry. See my other thread for further details.

Posting here to confirm that I am also having this issue. I've found that clicking on the exported app's icon will bring me back to where I was when I switched apps, but it seems a bit counter intuitive.

After almost 2 years, I have found a workaround for the 2) issues. When showing scene B from A, hide scene A (first action is Show Scene B, second is Hide Scene A, animation "None"). Destroy also works but it's slower and results in visual glitch. Hiding is almost never visible.

I believe the issues is with the scene status "Background". The kid app will not display a scene if it's status is "background" but it works if it's status is "hidden". Taske itself works fine with both. Also, why we have hidden and separate background status is not known to me.

Any update about showing apps (exported via app-factory) in recent app list? I would like to see the feature too.
