Hi,
Secure Settings is spotty at best on Android6.0 MM which made me dig more into the run shell commands I could use. And since I hate exploring the topic more than once, I made topic with over 40 commands in shell, and some explanations on how to look for settings etc.
I hope I save you trouble off big amount of googling I went through to find what I found!
(good grace it has been a while since I have ben to the google groups.... google should work on it a little bit! :D)

Is it possible to run shell commands without root? I tried to run a simple test, but %val is never set:
Test
A1: Run Shell [ Command:settings list system Timeout (Seconds):0 Use Root:Off Store Output In:%val ]
A2: Flash [ Text:%val Long:Off ]

I don't own an unrooted device right now, so I'm unable to confirm this. The majority of the shell commands will ask for the root permissions however. My bet is this could be the case.
