Hi everyone, first time posting an issue with Tasker:

I'm experiencing an issue when trying to change the Tasker countdown widget's pop-up - whenever I try to click on the popup that appears with intention to change the minute, hour, or second value, the popup immediately closes instead.

The only way I have been able to actually edit the countdown values, is to:
  1. Click the icon to open the timer edit popup
  2. Hold down the recent button and start split screen mode
  3. Now the Tasker countdown values can be edited
I find this workaround cumbersome. Can we please have the popup edited so I can update values straight from my homescreen?

This is occurring on a native unmodded Galaxy Note 5 running Android Nougat. Also to note, the "Force activities to be resizable" option on the development options of Android is disabled.

Anyone else experiencing this?

Thanks,
-Ben

I'll give it a try when I get the chance but I'm pretty busy with the new theme ATM.

Working fine here..  I have a pixel c tablet  /  Android 7.1.1 /  Tasker  Version: 4.9u4m

Also to note, the "Force activities to be resizable" option on the development options of Android is disabled.

Selected this as well and still all works as expected.

I am using Swype keyboard. I will try using Gboard to see if that fixes it.

I have removed the widgets and added them back with the same strange result.

Tried Gboard app and same results. It seems to be something with the screen. I'm running OEM nougat without any mods of any kind.

Those where the only ideas I had.. :(

Hopefully someone with the same device can confirm the same issues.

I am running Nova Launcher and not the default launcher. I just realized that information for you guys. Anyone able to test on Nova? If it seems that it is them, I can send them a bug detail.

This would have been good information at the start...

Can you try the stock launcher to test if that is the issue? I it would be best to build a new widget for the test.

Hi everyone,

Good news. This has been fixed in a recent update of Tasker. It was not a launcher issue - it was truly a Tasker issue.

Thanks for all the help over the months!
