k-load.js throws errors together with prototype

Hi all,
if using tapestry5-jquery with SUPPRESS_PROTOTYPE set to "false" the script import k-load.js causes some problems, because it is written using a fixed "jQuery" alias.
Would it be possible to deliver a version of this script making use of function scoping?
