PyTango 9

Hi,

We are working since two years on Morpho project for ONERA based on Tango.
We have devices developed in C ++, Python and clients developed in python and java. We compile from source:

- Tango-8.1.2c.tar.gz with patches
- PyTango-8.1.2.tar.gz

- tangorb-8.4.1.jar

To test a Tango 9 migration, we found the sources tango-9.2.2 but where can we get sources for PyTango and java ?

- https://github.com/tango-cs/PyTango ?

- http://www2.synchrotron-soleil.fr:8001/controle/maven2/soleil/org/tango/TangORB/ ?

We expect this migration of a few solving our problems as:

- The ability to have multiple network interface

- in java unsubscribe to device attribute

- ...

For PyTango 9, there is a branch made by Tiago : https://github.com/tango-cs/PyTango/tree/tango9

 

It’s still a “beta” version but a functional one.
