1) The idea was to remove your "baha'i rights" [or denounce you
publicly], and to isolate you---hoping to get you ostracized by your
family as well (refer to multiple examples in Baha'i history from
Ahmad Sohrab to Hamid Taheri).
2) The goal was (according to several baha'i psychologists who work on
behalf of UHJ- with the explicit order to control "freedom of
conscience") to BREAK you. This way you would "recognize your
mistakes, and beg the UHJ-NSA-ITC-ABM for forgiveness".
3) The Baha'i machinery did NOT recognize the strength of your soul-
spirit-intelligence. In effect, the machinery of UHJ was NOT able to
"break you".
4) The UHJ- fearing already the use of the internet- has not been able
to stop you from posting your research.
5) To make matters worse, those Baha'is responsible to "break you"
after the removal of your baha'i rights"- did a very POOR job. In
fact, they caused more harm to the IMAGE officially portrayed by UHJ
(Maneck-Kohli-Dermod).
6) The error here is related to the fact that those Baha'is used old
Baha'i techniques- more valuable in pre-internet era and more useful
for population in Iran (cultural issues related to blind obedience).
7) UHJ is NOW re-evaluating how to deal with "dissidents"- i.e. Steve
Marshall has some freedom to denounce and occasionally expose Baha'i
errors-crimes-fraud without severe retributions.
8) It appears that based on the experience gained from your case,
Prof. Cole, Marshalls, and others, the UHJ is NOW (in the 21th
century) going to try very hard to maintain a "loving-kind"
relationship with those that do not agree with the official Baha'i
dogma.
9) This new policy is scary as well- as it keeps an eye on
"dissidents" without removal of their rights. This way- Baha'is can
befriend the dissident- and destroy the dissident's life through LEGAL
means. There are already several Baha'is in the USA who have ALREADY
been subjected to this kind of intimidation. It is very insidious- and
take years to detect.
10) The worst part of this new UHJ infiltration machinery is that the
poor dissident gets hacked by the US judicial system. In several
cases, the dissident lost all of his-her assets in order to defend
himself/herself in US court- while Baha'is testified FALSELY against
the dissidents. In a couple of cases, the US NSA got involved as well.
11) Many dissidents have felt CRUSHED by the evil machinery of the
UHJ- whereby their source of income is severely jeopardized through
collateral litigations in US court .
12) These litigations are brought about by Baha'is in the community-
with the assistance of US NSA . Sometimes, these Baha'is are not told
about the consequences of their false testimonies- committing perjury
themselves.
13) The experiment is working quite well in USA- as 3 members of US
NSA have worked together in California Court system (Dorothy Nelson-
Juana Conrad- Davis- and prior member Judge Nelson).
14) The establishment of the Tahirih Justice Center in 1997- marked
the beginning of a new UHJ Machinery. Link; www.tahirih.org
15) Those women who are assisted through the Tahirih Justice Center-
are then requested to pay back Layli Muro-Miller (Iranian Bah'i-
lawyer)- through "services" such a fundraisers- books. Here a link to

16) Members of Tahirih Center include numerous Baha'is- such as Judge
Dorothy Nelson, and head of US Baha'i refugee office Pouran Stevens.
17) In conclusion, you have done well to leave before the change of
policy. Otherwise, specially if you continued to reside in USA, the
UHJ through its legal machinery- would have brought you down to your
knees- through financial ruin.

Protection of the Cause (pp. 15-16)
Although deepening the friends' understanding of the Covenant and increasing their love and loyalty to it are of paramount importance, the duties of the Auxiliary Board members for Protection do not end here. The Board members must remain ever vigilant, monitoring the actions of those who, driven by the promptings of ego, seek to sow the seeds of doubt in the minds of the friends and undermine the Faith. In general, whenever believers become aware of such problems, they should immediately contact whatever institution they feel moved to turn to, whether it be a Counsellor, an Auxiliary Board member, the National Spiritual Assembly or their own Local Assembly. It then becomes the duty of that institution to ensure that the report is fed into the correct channels and that all the other institutions affected are promptly informed. Not infrequently, the responsibility will fall on an Auxiliary Board member, in coordination with the Assembly concerned, to take some form of action in response to the situation. This involvement will include counselling the believer in question; warning him, if necessary, of the consequences of his actions; and bringing to the attention of the Counsellors the gravity of the situation, which may call for their intervention. Naturally, the Board member has to exert every effort to counteract the schemes and arrest the spread of the influence of those few who, despite attempts to guide them, eventually break the Covenant.

The need to protect the Faith from the attacks of its enemies may not be generally appreciated by the friends, particularly in places where attacks have been infrequent. However, it is certain that such opposition will increase, become concerted, and eventually universal. The writings clearly foreshadow not only an intensification of the machinations of internal enemies, but a rise in the hostility and opposition of its external enemies, whether religious or secular, as the Cause pursues its onward march towards ultimate victory. Therefore, in the light of the warnings of the Guardian, the Auxiliary Boards for Protection should keep "constantly" a "watchful eye" on those "who are known to be enemies, or to have been put out of the Faith", discreetly investigate their activities, alert intelligently the friends to the opposition inevitably to come, explain how each crisis in God's Faith has always proved to be a blessing in disguise, and prepare them for the "dire contest which is destined to range the Army of Light against the forces of darkness".
