Hello to all residents of reason.
Some years ago I ended my Usenext account and have been lurking and
rarely posting here via google groups. Since my tolerance towards
vile lies is decreasing with age I will need a proper newsclient
again with a killfile that can blot out the most repulsive trolls
and all answers to them except maybe those from some names I add as
an exception. I visit this group mainly through my android phone,
I live in Europe. I might also use Usenet for downloading files again
so a couple euros a month would seem o.k.
Any suggestions?

unsupported.

NewsTap is remarkable for using a smartphone platform in a usenet
environment. Not sure if Android offers anything comparable.

blocked content. Whitelisting is absent, but color coding is useful. I
color code threads I respond to when I remember. Not perfect but workable.

It supports killfiles and fetching of full articles or just headers.
news.individual.net is a good European-based news host at E10 per year.

maybe you are getting frustrated your lies dont take, as people usually get more mellow with age

Against your advise I will go back to Usenext with some "Holmez"
as a client, see how this works out. (I do like the alt. binaries rips)
Looking forward to a working killfile, way too much of my attention is
being taken up by unpleasant people, anyway.
