Precious Plastic Taiwan

Hello!

I'm at Impact Hub Taipei today (http://taipei.impacthub.net) and met with Rich, the co-founder. Precious Plastic plastic recycling  machines (https://preciousplastic.com/en/) built by a factory in Taipei, sponsored by Unilever, owned by NTU and used in events with the leadership of Rich and his other co-founder, Oliver.

They organized six events throughout schools in Taiwan in the past. Their Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/PreciousPlasticTaiwan/ has pics of the events. They made their own Chinese educational material to teach kids about recycling plastic.

They don't have any activity planned in the short term so I suggested that maybe Taipei Hackerspace would be interested in hosting the equipment and workshops?

Have to ask permission from NTU through Rich. Ping me if anyone is interested in following up with him.

My interest is that we also have a Precious Plastic team in XinCheJian, the Shanghai hackerspace, so we'd love to link up on this project.
