Thanks for the presentation. It’s an excellent complement to the Complexity Primer and I look forward to continuing this fruitful discussion.

Some references on objective emergence and complexity vs complicatedness that came up during the joint CxSWG and SSWG session 

1. Physicist P.W. Anderson’s 1972 article 'More is Different’;
2. Physicist Robert Laughlin’s 2005 book A Different Universe: Reinventing Physics from the Bottom Down;  
3. Mathematical biologist Robert Rosen’s work – see http://planetmath.org/robertrosen.
