Eight abstracts and presentations on SSWG Project developments were delivered in a 3-hour preconference workshop and 3.5 hours of paper sessions at the above conference. Abstracts were published in the Program & Abstract Workbook (ISBN 978-1-906740-15-3) as follows (SPT = systems processes theory; SP or SysPath = systems pathology)

Thus nearly 7 hours of SSWG talks were included wherein our authors represented 8 of 189 authors and 24 of 456 keywords. Many of our co-authors were Systems Engineers, and Troncale is a Past-President of ISSS and Tuddenham an incoming President (2019).

We received many requests for the slides and so all of these powerpoint presentations will be accessible in Troncale’sPublic Dropbox under “ISSS’17. These sessions also were the second public announcement of the official incorporation of a new professional society, the International Society for Systems Pathology” (ISSP) [an outgrowth of SSWG work; announced first at INCOSE IW’17]. No effort was made at these afternoon sessions to attract ISSP members but all will be emailed with the invitations to do so post conference. Any SE interested in joining ISSP as Founding Members should contact the above author.

Ware thankful we were able to present such a wide range of developments at ISSS’17 and that we continued the aims of ISSS, of its GST Founders, of the basic needs of the systems community, and of the hopes for an International Society for Systems Pathology as a significant spin-off. We also delivered practical products for ISSS-MOU partner, INCOSE, and its SSWG, NSWG, CxSWGand SoSWG’s.
