Dear Friends and Colleagues,

A friendly reminder that the journal Systems (ISSN 2079-8954) is currently running a Special Issue entitled "Systems Approaches and Tools for Managing Complexity". Dr. Nam Nguyen and Dr. Constantin Malik, both of the Malik Institute, St. Gallen (Switzerland), Dr. Thanh V. Nguyen of the Ministry of Public Security, Hanoi (Vietnam) and Mr. Tuan Ha, of the University of Adelaide Business School, Adelaide (Australia), are serving as Guest Editors for this issue. We think you could make an excellent contribution based on your expertise.

We are living in an increasingly complex world, in which all economic, social, environmental, cultural and political factors and processes are evidently interconnected. Traditional problem-solving approaches through simple linear thinking and “quick fixes” that solve issues in isolation have posed various shortcomings, including failures, and even counterproductive consequences. [...]

For further reading, please follow the link to the Special Issue Website at:
http://www.mdpi.com/si/systems/systems_tools.

The submission deadline is 30 January 2017. You may send your manuscript now or up until the deadline. Submitted papers should not be under consideration for publication elsewhere. We also encourage authors to send a short abstract or tentative title to the Editorial Office in advance (
sys...@mdpi.com).

Systems is fully open access. Open access (unlimited and free access by readers) increases publicity and promotes more frequent citations, as indicated by several studies. Open access is supported by the authors and their institutes. No Article Processing Charges (APC) apply for well-prepared manuscripts. Systems (
http://www.mdpi.com/journal/systems) is a journal published by MDPI AG, Basel, Switzerland. Systems maintains rigorous peer-review and a rapid publication process. All articles are published with a CC BY 4.0 license. For more information on the CC BY license, please see: http://creativecommons.org

For further details on the submission process, please see the
instructions for authors at the journal website.

We are looking forward to receiving your contributions to this Special Issue!

Best regards,

Nam

(on behalf of the Guest Editors: Dr. Nam Nguyen, Dr. Constantin Malik, Dr. Thanh V. Nguyen, MSc. Tuan Ha)
