I hope it is clear that when I say there IS BELIEF in science, I am referring to the scientists in other specialties regarding the judgements of the appropriate consensus specialists as true even as they have not performed those experiments or vetted those conclusions themselves AND NOT the features of belief as Pierce well describes in this referral by Joe. I am in total agreement with the arguments that Pierce presents here and think (believe) that most practicing scientists would also.
