Saw the selection of magnetic tapes at Daiso yesterday, most impressive was this one: http://s3-media1.fl.yelpcdn.com/bphoto/-d6opLljOnMWYeR-1xvfqQ/o.jpg

Anyone played with it yet? Does it actually offer any holding force?

I don't know yet what I want to use it for, and resisted the urge to buy. At the very least it must simplify making of laser cut or 3d printed fridge magnets... not that I need a fridge magnet.

They also sell 'magnetic whiteboards' which is an a4 magnet sheet with a white contacted surface which laser cuts OK. Not sure if it's safe to cut, lots of sparks come out though...

I have the magnetic sheets, we send them through the inkjet at work and cut them out with a scalpel.
I've not been brave enough to send it through the laser printer

They hold their own weight OK, but that's it. They struggle with holding paper on a white board
