3D printer filament question

Hi friends, 

I can see on the wiki: http://hackerspace.pbworks.com/w/page/98540491/3d%20Printers that its $1 per 10g of filament, I have a ton of filament laying around at home, mostly PLA, am I able to bring and use my own ? :D

Definately. We now have 1.75 and 3.85mm printers, all are currently configured for ABS, but the Printrbot and Lulzbot should take PLA with setting changes
