Hi Folks,

I am not able to connect to ASE server.
I am on Solaris 8 with Sybase 12.5.3.

Folllowing errors are generated.
sybase@bd1(114)% isql -Usa -P -SSYBASE_RTDS
CS-LIBRARY error:
ct_init(): network packet layer: internal net
library error: Failed to open Net-Library localization file
Unable to initialize Client Library.
sybase@bd1(115)%

Thanks in anticipation.
Cheers!
Jayesh

That looks like an incomplete ASE or OCS installation, or possibly
an incorrect environment. Make sure that you load the SYBASE.sh or
SYBASE.csh file before you try to run isql.

Make sure the ASE is really listening by netstat -a | grep your_sybase_port
