YAML - Questions (length, multiple YAMLs, API flows)

We are starting working with Swagger and I have a few questions: 

• Is it correct to work with multiple YAMLS? Any recommended number? 
  
• Is there a suggested maximum length of a YAML? 
  
• What is the recommended way to document user flows? using one API response in the another API request and so on.
