Information on v3 servers object

Hey all,

I am looking for more information (git issue, or forum entry) about the servers object (array of https://github.com/OAI/OpenAPI-Specification/blob/OpenAPI.next/versions/3.0.md#serverObject)

It's hard to search for "servers" or "server" =)... too many hits.  

Basically, I wanted to know about the intended golden path(s) that were envisioned for this, specially if it favours a scenario of creating swagger during build-time (doesn't know where it will be hosted) vs runtime (knows where), and how the URL templates in those server objects are meant to be replaced (ie: manual replacement by users, or will the libraries provide some guidelines/avenues for doing the replacement?)
