how to configure hostname

again the question:

we have running tomcat behind apache via reverse proxy like this:

ProxyPass /sventon http://localhost:8080/sventon
ProxyPassReverse /sventon http://localhost:8080/sventon

sventon cann not be installed because it created links with "localhost:
8080" in the URL, instead of "myserver:80".
How to configure the hostname in app, so that links are generated
correctly.

Hi!

You have to configure the Tomcat connector as well.
Check out: http://tomcat.apache.org/tomcat-5.5-doc/config/ajp.html
and the parameters proxyName and proxyPort.
