I don't suppose anything will come of this but you never know..

My 80s era Trek road bike was stolen in Oakland 10/8 at the intersection of Telegraph Ave. and W. Grand. It was U-locked but I guess they broke it. Purple frame with gold lettering, yellow taped handlebars, and the downtube is covered in stickers with quotes. Please call 650-520-0037 if you spot it. It didn't turn up at the Laney Flea Market this Sunday, but I saw plenty of other (stolen) bikes there.
