My friend Nole spotted this sketchy scene the other day and forwarded me photos of the trucks' plate numbers. I sent them to the SFPD, and it turns out that black truck "belongs to Mr. J. Purdie who has several prior convictions for bike theft-related offenses." So if you see something suspicious that you think is a crime in progress, SFPD advises you to call 911 or at the very least, call the non-emergency number at 415-553-0123.
