Updating service events

Hi,

I am relatively new to Stashboard. After going through the code for few days, I do have a basic understanding of how Stashboard works. What I am trying to do is, when I call http://localhost:12080/ or  (r'/*$', site.RootHandler) I want to update the events of services. I think for this, I will have to call the post function of api.EventsListHandler. Any idea how to go about this?
