Locking down the Admin panel and Admin functions.

I have StashBoard installed and running on Windows 2008 R2 server as this is what I have access to. I am trying to determine how I can lock down access to the Admin functions. I am running the app on an internal server. As I am sure anyone using the APP currently knows as long as you type a valid email and click the sign in as administrator button you get the access. Can this be locked down? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
