Hi all,

Can we move our discussions to http://discourse.mc-stan.org?
This requires everyone to:
1. Go to discourse.mc-stan.org and register
2. Let us know that you're registered and one of us can add you to the developers list.

We recently had emails about the new Stan meeting time that was sent to an ad-hoc list. Rather than creating a new Google group for just the meeting invitees, I propose we use discourse and add permissions to see information about the meeting.

To use the developers list on discourse, you can either:
1. Go to the website and use the interface there.
2. Email stan...@mc-stan.org (or mc_stan+stan-dev@discoursemail.com). This will create a new thread with the developers category.

Hey I tried to register with Google but that link is broken and it says you can fix it. Is that possible? K

Well, that would require that people actively check the forum no? It took 2 weeks for you to respond to my question :-P :D

Bob, will do. I've almost got Google working. Looks like whatever I configured before didn't hold. I'll send out a detailed email once I figure it out.

Josh, just gave you developer access.

Krzysztof, can you check again? It looked like it was almost good.

It's worth mentioning that there is a "Mailing List Mode" which you can
enable in your user preferences. You'll get an email message each time
there is a new post. This is not enabled by default.

It does not let me log-in via Google account. Says authorization error.

Can you try now?

Hi all,

Just another push to try to get us to use discourse. Can everyone sign up? Instructions here:

I think we have the authentication worked out now. Once we, the devs, have moved over and learned to navigate, we can encourage users to shift over too. It's much easier to navigate than Google Groups.
