Hi,

I am pleased to announce that the University of Southampton Student’s Union have approved our branch's request to become an affiliated society. Thanks go to everyone who has helped us get to this point in the last few months, a special shout-out to Murray who passionately argued our case this week against four other robots-based societies.

This allows us to receive funding for Southampton-specific events, but best of all, a place at the bunfight and increased marketing potential.
