[candidate-sr2014] Nominating myself (Rich) for the Engineering role

Hi,

I imagine everyone already knows who I am, but for those who don't, and
as a recap for those who do:

I have been involved in Student Robotics for the last 4 years. I
graduated from Soton last year, with a degree in electronic engineering,
and am now working in Oxford. I previously designed all of the boards in
the current electronics kit and am in the middle of getting the next
generation motor board manufactured.

Now for why you should vote for me:

I've performed this role two years ago, so already have experience in
what is expected. Also, now that I'm not based in Southampton, I will be
forced to take a more management based approach, rather than just doing
everything myself last minute. I think that this, combined with the fact
that my time is no longer constrained to the perpetual cycle of the
academic year, will allow us to be more organised and prepared for the
start of the competition year. In the past we've shipped kit many months
after kickstart. Now it's time to see how many months prior to kickstart
we can have the kit ready to ship.
