Sample dao proposal - committer review requested

I created a dao and sample project in an attempt to make starting with squeryl on playframework as easy as possible:

When I started, I wished there was a concrete sample showing dao abstraction, auditing, pagination, optimistic locking, etc.

So I made something that works, but I am far from an expert.  So I am certain the Dao class could be improved by someone who knows squeryl better...you!  

Could the squeryl committers take a moment to help perfect this sample, especially the main Dao class?

(Note that the module is not published yet so to play with the sample, first run "activator publishLocal" under the modules directory)
