Hello Spyder Developers,

Is it possible to accsess the spyder instance running the console from whithin a script running in the console? So i Can Interact with spyder from a running program?
Or are there ways access and automate spyder from any python-script running?

Hi Thomas,

Maybe you can use the Internal Console. It brings you access to the instance that is running of Spyder. As an example if you run there something like spy.window.editor.load() a file chooser window will show and the file you choose will open in the Editor.
