Sypder crashing on windows 10

After installing Anaconda, I tried running spyder directly by opening it normal and with administrator but it crashes every single time. Please provide any help as I need to begin my assignment on python asap.

I'm having the same problem, the log file (in c:/users/yourname/spyder_crash.log) shows:

cannot import name 'SimpleQueue'

Found the problem, I had a .py file with the same name as a library .py file. Therefore Spyder was taking the wrong file on startup.
