Spyder 3.1.4-py3 installed but cannot launch

I just installed Spyder3.1.4-py3. The installation seemed fine. But, when I tried to launch spyder by calling "spyder3.exe" it did nothing.

I tried "spyder3 --reset" and "spyder3", but still nothing came up. All quiet.

BTW, I also have spyder3.1.2 (with python 2.7).

Should I uninstalled that first? Or, can I keep both?

I am using Anaconda and I have root environment for python 2.7 and an extra environment for python 3.5. I installed Spyder3.1.4-py3 under python 3.5 environment.

What should I do to launch Spyder3.1.4-py3?

You should simply run

spyder

in Anaconda. No spyder3.exe nor spyder.exe.
