So yeah, some work to be done still! But it's a nice longer-term goal to have.

I find that Geography EPs are particularly likely to be followed by a swift publish. I have received 4 Geography EPs (cheers Rob), three of which were published within the month (the other one is quite UK specific).

On the other hand I have also received 4 History EPs (cheers napb) all are highly rated and 3 have been plays counts in the several thousands, yet no publishes.

That is true Erin and I am grateful for the number and variety of publishes that I have.  My point was more that I have very few quizzes in some categories and I do not see an Ivan coming anytime soon.  I thought when I posted in the Dean's List thread that I had more than 1 Editor's Pick quality quiz in every category that I still needed except for maybe Gaming.  I only had 1 religion quiz, but it was an EP, so that category was not needed.  In other words, I thought if enough attention was given to the quizzes I had already created, I could have made the Dean's List.  Although I have at least 1 EP in each category, I do not feel as close to the Crazy Ivan and some people with less publishes than I are probably closer.  Especially because none of my current quizzes employ, sound or pictures.  Although I hope to make a slideshow or map quiz in the near future.  I consider myself a quality quizmaker, but there are others that are much better at it than I am and I am OK with that.  I enjoy making the quizzes that I make and at this time, that is enough for me.  If I were to get close to an Ivan, I would definitely lobby for myself as I did when I was 1 category away from a Dean's List and e-mailed the editor of the last category that I needed.  I am not shameless nor am devoid of a large ego.

Sorry to bring up an old thread, but recently I noticed manonthemoon and razorz are both only one publish away from receiving their own Crazy Ivan badge!
manonthemoon needs a Religion publish and razorz needs a Literature publish

Manonthemoon has no contributed religion quizzes and razorz has only one Lit quiz.  But, that lit quiz (http://www.sporcle.com/games/razorz/true_story) is an excellent one.  I've just nominated it- go take a look and do the same if you agree!

I know manonthemoon is aware of that, and is utterly relaxed about it; he certainly knows that creating a Religion quiz in the first place could help :)

Both he and razorz are certainly deserving, and I believe you can at least add hscer into the mix as well.

Thanks for the push. Hejman. Lit is my weakness, but I'm prepared to make another non-fiction quiz sometime down the road if needed. As for others with 14/15, I think my brother (puckett86) is in that boat, needing just a Holiday publish.

A hint for those striving for the badge: what helped me is creating two series that involved making quizzes in multiple categories. I don't see a lot of that being done, but it certainly helped me get to 14.

razorz, great quiz with a nice mix of both fiction and non-fiction (not sure which the political books really are) also a good mix of the common and rarer like BG.  I also nominated the quiz.

Just to add to what razorz said about making a series- the 'Over/Under' series that I made in 2011 eventually got me publications in 14 of the 15 categories (the holiday one remains unpublished) and two in Lit because I did a general one and a Harry Potter one.  The format also got publications for three or four others users after I was done with the original series.  So there's an example of how a quiz series across categories can almost earn you a Crazy Ivan all on its own.
