It recently emerged that FreeXL 1.0.2 could be unable to

parse some specific XLS document [BIFF8 format: Excel

1997-2003].

The issue was usually related to spreadsheets containing

many long text strings in some Asian language.

The latest FreeXL 1.0.3 fixes this issue.

Developers and packagers are warmly invited to switch

to FreeXL 1.0.3 as soon as possible.
