The documentation say only Python 2.7.

I am interested in using 3.4 instead of 2.7 due to better Unicode support as well as performance improvements.

A non-exhaustive list of features which are only available in 3.x releases and won't be backported to the 2.x series:

  • strings are Unicode by default
  • clean Unicode/bytes separation
  • exception chaining
  • function annotations
  • syntax for keyword-only arguments
  • extended tuple unpacking
  • non-local variable declarations

Hi,

Unfortunately we are not currently giving support for Phyton 3.x and won't be able to do it in a short term, we understand that the new available features you are  mentioning are definitely useful so we are already planning on how to give it support at mid term.

Best regards.
