Seasons Greetings,
I hope you are enjoying the last vestiges of 2019! SOUPA will be bringing the new year by hosting its first ever Winter League. Games will be played at the US Cellular field #14, the furthest north field just off Lowry Ln. The website has not yet been updated with the current information, but I didn't want to wait any longer before announcing this! I made some links, and I hope they work... Dates and pricing are listed on the registration form, so while you check those out, just go ahead and fill in the boxen at the same time!
We will be playing a slight variant for this league called Mini. Games are 10-15 minutes of continuous play; each match is a best 2 out of 3 series, with 2 matches played each week. It will not only keep you warm while you play and well conditioned throughout the season, but all that cardio thoroughly evens the playing field. If you are unsure if you would be interested in playing this way, we will likely be playing it during pick-up on the next three Sundays before league starts. Don't delay! Come play!
