Another reminder to get your team registered for Sectionals by August 25th at 4PM Pacific. That's just over a week from now. If you aren't registered, you can't play at Sectionals - thems the rules.

 

As of this moment the following teams have registered:

- FCDC

- Happy Hour (need to populate your event roster)

- Igneous

- Midnight Whiskey

- Oh My (need to populate your event roster)

We're a little over two weeks away from the team registration deadline for Sectionals (August 25th). Please get on the USAU website and sign up, if you're planning to play. You'll need at least ten players with current USAU memberships on your event roster before you can sign up. Then you'll have a little under two weeks to finish finalizing your roster (by 9/6).

Apologies if I've been a little quieter this year on the Sectionals front! Here's some preliminary information.

- Sectionals is September 9th and 10th.

- We will be playing at the Crystal Lake Sports Complex in Corvallis, OR.

- Lined fields, field food/water, athletic trainers!

- Bid fee isn't set yet, I will let you know when it is.

- It is my understanding we'll be playing alongside Oregon Mens Sectionals.

The NW Regional Coordinator offered to put on the tournament this year, so most of the actual tournament logistics are in his hands. I'll forward that information along as I get it. In the meantime, I am still in charge of anything related to your team and USAU, so if you have questions about that, let me know. On that note:

- Team registration deadline is August 25th at 4PM Pacific Time. You will need to register your team for Sectionals, and create an Event Roster of at least 10 players by this time. You should be able to do this on the USAU website now, but if not let me know.

- You may make changes to your roster up until September 6th at 4PM Pacific Time, to a maximum of 27 players. Unrostered players are not allowed to play at Sectionals, and teams found to knowingly play with unrostered players may be disqualified.

- These are hard deadlines! I can't help you if you miss them.

Additionally, please let me know if you are not the best contact for your team, and send me along to the new team contact.

Also - in looking at hotels for the weekend of Sectionals, it seems like a lot of things are booked up for the evening of the 9th for a football game, I assume.

I would encourage you to start looking at housing now and making sure you have a plan. The tournament is definitely going to be on both Saturday and Sunday, so make sure that's factored in.

If you end up having trouble with housing let me know and I can see what I can do to connect you with folk.
