CrampUp - seeking more volunteers

Hi everyone,

Just over two weeks until CrampUp!

Here are more volunteer positions I am seeking to fill. Each volunteer for one of these positions fills a gap and gets us one step closer to a successful and fun weekend!

1. We are having dinner catered at the party. I am seeking a dinner czar: buy stuff at Costco as delineated from what the caterer is buying; setup; serve; takedown/cleanup; store leftovers. I can help you recruit people to get this done but what I'm seeking here is someone who says, "Yes, I'm gonna OWN that dinner." Marisa has done this well and is standing by to give advice and help too. Who wants this one?

2. Does anyone have ideas on friendly people to oversee Ultimate Central throughout the tournament? Keep the water flowing, say hi to people, help sell discs, etc. Can be more than one person too, in shifts or not. Seems fun for spouses, siblings, etc.? Ideas or volunteers?

3. I am seeking trailers/trucks and associated volunteers: for Ultimate central, for water, and for the party. Two of the main vehicles/trailers from last year are not available. Seeking different ones. Details below my signature. Anyone?

4. Who will be joining Kelly (thanks Kelly!) in setting up the fields on Thursday, May 17, so the lines drawn on Fri May 18 will be perfect?

5. Seems like someone should invite May to play with a local team (she's a very skilled female player who moved away recently). Anyone have May's contact info?

SEEKING THESE TRAILERS/TRUCKS:

a) A truck to pick up donated water (and hand pumps) in 5-gallon jugs from the water donor in Medford on Thurs May 17 between 9 am and 6 pm, and then refill those same bottles at the Emigrant Lake party site Saturday night (where there is good water access), bringing them back to the fields Sunday morning. I've lined up the donation thanks to Shantrin. I am seeking a volunteer vehicle and people to do the stuff I just described.

b) A closed trailer for Ultimate Central, to transport and store large items such as tables, SOUPA banner, sun canopies, coolers for ice, etc. I'll write the list into a Google sheet for reference this year and future years. Does someone have an Ultimate Central list from a previous year I can start with?

c) A closed trailer or truck which volunteers pack with firewood and other bulky items for the party; Russ's party crew unloads it between the end of day 1 of the tournament and the party which follows. Seeking trailer/truck plus someone to tow/drive it out there etc!

If I remember correctly, last year we used a closed trailer of Winder's for Ultimate Central, and Troy's truck for water, and didn't need a party trailer. This year, what are we gonna do? Talk to me! Some of you have some trucks or trailers, or might have good ideas on others to ask or what to do here. Would rather spend money on food etc. than on u-hauls and if people have these sorts of vehicles and like the idea of helping out, it's a great way to help out!
