Hi,

Because i am to use quite a lot of Publish / subscribe mechanisms for the control of all my TRV's, and movement detectors i wanted to know what the limitations of this system are. In the PublishSubscribe.h i see a two byte topic and a single byte variant, is the complete spectrum useable? (i mean 256 variants in 65535 topics)
Or are there limitations to this?

Thanks,

Stef

The limitation is on the network side, you should design your system to run at no more than 1 message/second. This should consider all communication.

Isn't easy to measure this number, but you could start with pubsub not eating more than 30% of your bandwidth, so 1 message every 3 second as overall.

Dario.
