Dear Yahoo biochar list and soil-Age,

This FEMA gasifier was posted on the SE big listserv, a very complete design of a downdraft gasifier to make fuel for i c e engines thought that some in these groups might be interested.

If anyone undertake such a project we would all love a report.

I could have sworn that I got this doc from this group but my searches are coming back blank. Attached is a document from our friends at FEMA. It shows how to make a wood gasifier from 1980's hardware store items. They run a tractor but think generator and electric car....
