t test

Complete noob here again! 

I need to do to a T test which will show whether or not the % of a particular population impacts on the opinion of the participant.  Better I explain -

I did a survey and input the data into a database.

Column headings:

%NV (percentage inserted and mean average found to be 58.26%)

Suitability (options were: not fit/improvement needed/accurate)

Now I need to show whether or not %NV impacts on the opinion in terms of suitability using a t test
