I'm hoping someone can help me with translating abbreviations I have
found on tombstones in Lithuania. I have the abbreviations in Hebrew
characters and can send the short list to anyone who might be able to
help me with that. The challenge is not the dates but the
abbreviations describing the person or his/her situation.

Please write to me privately.

Thank you.

Shalom,
This is an answer to Carol Hoffman's mail, but I think it can be
useful to all the genners.
There is a site http://www.kizur.co.il/home.php (in Hebrew) very
useful to understand the meaning of Rashei Tevot (abbreviations).
It's easy to use, and I always find what I need.
